- Define and execute the data and analytics strategy for Santander Investments in alignment with the organization's business strategy and growth priorities.
- Serve as a senior advisor to business leadership on data, analytics, management information, automation, and data-enabled business capabilities.
- Establish the strategic roadmap and investment priorities for the function, balancing transformation initiatives with ongoing business and operational requirements.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team spanning data management, analytics, business intelligence, Salesforce, reporting, automation, database development, and production support.
- Establish scalable data and reporting capabilities capable of supporting the continued evolution and growth of the investment and wealth management businesses.
- Represent Santander Investments in relevant enterprise data, technology, vendor, and transformation initiatives.
- Provide leadership over major data workstreams associated with strategic platform implementations, migrations, integrations, and new business capabilities.
- Drive greater use of automation, advanced analytics, and emerging data capabilities to improve business performance, scalability, and decision-making.
- Establish appropriate governance, prioritization, accountability, and operating disciplines across the function.
- Develop senior talent and build organizational capabilities required to support the long-term data and analytics needs of the business.
- 15+ years of progressive experiencein data, analytics, business intelligence, financial systems, technology-enabled business solutions, or related disciplines, with significant experience in financial services strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of leadership experience, including responsibility for multidisciplinary teams and complex strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience operating as a senior data, analytics, business intelligence, or business technology leader within a complex organization.
- Strong understanding of financial-services businesses and data environments; experience within wealth management, brokerage, investment advisory, asset management, or banking strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience defining and executing data and analytics strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Proven ability to advise and partner with senior executives and translate strategic business priorities into scalable data, analytics, reporting, and automation capabilities.
- Significant experience leading complex data environments, including data architecture, relational databases, data integration, ETL, business intelligence, reporting, and data-quality frameworks.
- Experience leading major platform migrations, vendor integrations, API-enabled capabilities, and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data governance, controls, reconciliation, data quality, and management information within a regulated environment.
- Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Power BI, and comparable data and analytics technologies strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively across Business, Data, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and other control and support functions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, develop high-performing teams, and manage multiple strategic and operational priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required; advanced degree or relevant professional qualifications preferred.
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
