The Difference You Make:
The BORC Analyst is a critical component of the Branch Operational Risk Control (BORC) program, responsible for executing branch reviews to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Provides identification and remediation of control gaps and supports accurate and timely reporting to leadership, and sustains overall program effectiveness.
This position supports and requires travel to the five Burroughs of NYC and surrounding states.
Identifies and assesses various risks for Consumer & Business Banking business line by executing defined risk programs.
Executes, reviews, or evaluates controls via a quality program and participates in initiatives and recommends opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness and/or risk reduction.
Reports (MIS and engagements) and escalates as necessary to risk management team (including 2nd line of defense).
Helps drive cultural awareness and education of risk management practices.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Finance or equivalent degree. - Required.
3+ Years Risk Management - Required.
Advanced understanding of key inherent risk and risk management control practices to perform periodic analysis with critical reasoning for high management reporting.
Demonstrated practical and theoretical knowledge of market risk principles, concepts and policies.
Strong quantitative capabilities and analytical skills, including an investigative mindset.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook) skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and foster internal relationships.

What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$65,625.00 USDMaximum:
$110,000.00 USDRisk Culture:
