The Difference You Make:
The Regional Sales Director is accountable for driving profitable growth, expanding dealer partnerships, and increasing market share within an assigned region. This role leads and develops a high-performing sales team while executing national strategies tailored to local market dynamics. By leveraging data-driven insights and strong industry relationships, the RSD identifies growth opportunities, enhances dealer engagement, and optimizes portfolio performance. The position plays a critical role in delivering regional revenue targets, strengthening competitive positioning, and ensuring consistent, compliant execution across all sales activities.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Dealer Relationship Managers to consistently achieve and exceed regional originations and profitability targets.
Drive execution of national sales strategies while adapting plans to local market conditions and dealer needs.
Own regional performance by managing loan origination volume and market share growth within the assigned territory.
Analyze regional performance data and dealer trends to identify opportunities, risks, and competitive insights.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealer stakeholders, including Dealer Principals and General Managers, to drive engagement and production.
Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable through defined KPIs, activity metrics, and regular performance reviews.
Conduct ongoing coaching, including monthly one-on-ones and in-field development, to improve individual and team effectiveness.
Lead regular team meetings and regional calls to communicate priorities, share best practices, and reinforce performance expectations.
Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to enhance dealer experience, resolve escalated issues, and improve processes.
Identify, pursue, and onboard new dealer relationships to expand market coverage and increase originations.
Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to proactively adjust strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
Ensure consistent and compliant execution of all sales activities in alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on regional performance, trends, and opportunities.
Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and dealer functions to strengthen brand presence and relationships.
Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and team capabilities to enhance productivity and long-term performance.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required
Professional Experience:
7+ Years Auto Finance industry experience - Required.
7+ Years Sales/Marketing experience - Preferred.
7+ Years Account Management experience - Preferred.
Skills:
Willingness and flexibility to travel by car and/or air as needed - Required.
Demonstrates excellent communication and people skills, professional appearance, work ethic, and high energy personality.
Demonstrable record with excellence in desking deals, closing and motivating and supervising sales personnel for results.
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills; strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Able to hire, train, motivate and develop a high energy sales force to elevate sales volume and gross.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$86,250.00 USDMaximum:
$150,000.00 USDRisk Culture:
