Duties:  Develop and manage application architecture and roadmap in collaboration with Solution/Enterprise Architects, and ensure knowledgebase remains updated in centralized repository. Review and advise on technical and functional business requirements to be implemented for Online Banking applications. Apply design thinking, test/data driven development, devops and agile practices. Build and maintain relationships with business product managers. Manage resource and vendor onboarding, work allocation, knowledge transfer and capacity planning. Ensure code reviews are performed for all releases across web or mobile applications. Set up brainstorming sessions to timely address open issues. Control IT risk management, complete inherent risk assessments, manage application obsolescence, and track and remediate action drivers, internal audit findings, and vulnerabilities.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering plus five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the offered position or a software developer or platform & delivery management position at a bank or financial institution. All required experience must have included developing and managing application architecture and roadmap including for online banking applications; managing resource and vendor onboarding, work allocation, knowledge transfer, capacity planning (resource and application), and project timelines and SDLC timeframes; producing application systems documentation of end-to-end application process flows and infrastructure upgrades, runbook/playbook for L1/L2 issue resolutions and incident management; performing inherent risk assessments, obsolescence management, and tracking and remediation of action drivers, audit findings and vulnerabilities; and utilizing programming and markup languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML5, CSS3), testing tools (NetBeans, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Postman, SoapUI and Figma), databases (SQL, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, MySQL), mainframe systems (CICS, Control-M, TSO 390, JCLs), server/system management tools (IBM WAS/WebSphere, Linux, Unix and Dynatrace), visualization/documentation tools (Power BI, LaTeX, Markdown), version control and ITSM (GitHub, GitLab and ServiceNow), and project/workflow tools (Jira, MS Project and Fluid).

Details:  Full-time. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Quincy, MA office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
