Duties: Coordinate and execute structured finance transactions end to end including origination, structuring, modelling, diligence, and lenders presentations. Manage transaction due diligence through underwriting process and credit submission process for potential transactions. Participate in negotiations of definitive financing documentation. Develop and analyze complex financial models (cash flow, debt sizing, valuation, sensitivities) to advise clients on optimal financing strategies and conduct complex financial analyses. Establish modeling best practices for the broader team. Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships to support broader team with new business pitches, organic business growth, and cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics, plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or as a Product and Structured Finance Analyst. All required experience must have included: advising on complex financing structures and executing transactions across project finance, corporate finance, and strategic M&A; coordinating transaction process from origination to closing; working on transactions across energy transition, traditional energy, power & renewables, infrastructure and digital infrastructure in the U.S. and other geographies outside North America; performing loan/bond transaction due diligence; developing complex financial models (including cash flow models with sensitivity analysis, debt sizing models and valuations models) and coding Excel VBA/macros; and distilling complex financial information into market insights and presenting them to technical and nontechnical audience in pitch books, deal decks and structuring memos.
Details: 9AM-6PM, 40 hours/week, M‑F. Must be willing to travel domestically 10-20% of time for client meetings and industry conferences and to visit project sites.
