Santander US is looking for a motivated leader with strong operational experience in all aspects of access management to join our team as the head of identity and access management (IAM) and privileged access management (PAM) for Santander US. In this role, you will also serve as the regional deputy head of IAM and PAM for the North America region, which includes the US and Mexico.

As the head of IAM and PAM for Santander US, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IAM and PAM policies, processes, and systems across the US business units. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Santander's global policies. You will also manage the IAM and PAM operations, including user provisioning, access reviews, password management, role management, access certification, and privileged access monitoring. You will lead a team of over 30 professionals, including IAM and PAM analysts, engineers, and administrators. This role will report directly to the North America Head of IAM and PAM and functionally to the Santander US CISO.

As the regional deputy head of IAM and PAM for North America, you will support the regional head of IAM and PAM in defining and executing the regional IAM and PAM strategy, aligning with the global IAM and PAM vision and objectives. You will be responsible for North America access management operations and ensuring consistency and efficiency in the IAM and PAM services across the region. You will act as the regional point of contact for IAM and PAM related matters, representing the region in global forums and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in IAM and PAM, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM and PAM best practices, frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM and PAM tools and technologies, such as Sailpoint, CyberArk, Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, LDAP, etc.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex and dynamic situations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English a must.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in IAM and PAM, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc., preferred.

  • Experience working with business process reengineering and IT solutioning; experience working on project teams bringing together both business & technology. Capable of explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Advanced ability to interpret financial results and business data to identify opportunities and risks

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
