The Difference You Make:

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is looking for an Analyst to join the Export & Agency Finance (EAF) team in the US.

This role offers exposure to complex international transactions across the US market, working closely with clients, Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and internal teams globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the origination, structuring, and execution of EAF transactions.

  • Assist in transactions end-to-end, from initial pitch through closing, including preparation of presentations, term sheets, and credit materials.

  • Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow analysis and profitability metrics.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Coverage, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Markets, Syndication) across multiple geographies.

  • Contribute to credit approval processes, due diligence, and transaction documentation.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and stay up to date on market trends and geopolitical developments impacting the bank's clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in structured finance, export finance, project finance, or corporate banking

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

  • Familiarity with ECA and/or Multilateral Agency financing structures preferred

  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-border, multicultural environment

  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on client facing roles

  • Exposure to Export Credit Agencies, Multilateral Institutions (such as the World Bank Group), and/or Development Finance Institutions

  • Background in infrastructure, energy, or industrial sectors preferred

  • Prior experience in Structured Finance, Trade Finance or Syndications

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$110,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$135,000.00 USD
