Duties:  Support the modeling and financial reporting of annuity and life products, performing the following specific duties: Develop the underlying assumptions, theory, empirical evidence, and conceptual soundness of statistical and mathematical models. Use internal and external data sources to create robust model development datasets. Generate various strategic analyses and business analytics. Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduce redundancy. Support model validation and documentation of models in accordance with internal policies and federal regulations (SR 11-07).

Requirements:  Master’s in Business Analytics, Statistics or Data Science, plus three years of experience in position offered or a business intelligence, business analysis or business management role in banking or finance sector. All required experience must have included developing and maintaining sophisticated empirical models, including credit scoring models, for a nonprime auto lender; maintaining and monitoring data and databases to ensure the integrity and security of data quality operations; analyzing the quality, accuracy and security of data from databases to drive optimization and process improvement; defining requirements, building analytical data sets, performing data analysis, and delivering analytical solutions; performing extensive data analysis including data profiling and data quality analysis to enhance reporting functionality and automation of processes; and working with tools/technologies, including languages (SQL, SAS and Python), databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer, Access Database), and data warehouse/business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS).

Details:  Full-time. Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.
