Key Responsibilities
The Private Banking Prospector is responsible for driving new client acquisition and expanding Santander Private Banking's presence within the High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) communities. Through a deep understanding of Santander’s comprehensive wealth management, banking, lending, trust, and planning capabilities, the Prospector will identify and cultivate meaningful client relationships while delivering a highly personalized experience.
This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to attract prospective clients, build strong referral networks, and establish relationships with professional centers of influence. The Prospector partners closely with a team of specialists, including Wealth Advisors, Investment Professionals, Capital Advisors, and Trust & Estate Advisors, to deliver tailored solutions that address clients’ complex financial needs and support their long-term goals.
What You Bring:
Successful candidates will bring direct experience as a banker / business development role acquiring and developing high net worth clients in Latin America. Additionally, this individual is passionate about building long term and multigenerational relationships, and thrives working in a team environment to achieve the common goals.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
Qualifications:
· 6+ years of experience developing new business and building trusted client relationships within the private banking or wealth management environment.
· Broad knowledge of wealth management, private banking, investment, lending, trust, and estate planning solutions.
· Proven ability to identify opportunities, engage prospective clients, navigate complex conversations, and effectively convert prospects into long-term relationships.
· Understanding of investment strategies, portfolio construction, managed and brokerage solutions, banking and lending products, trust and estate services, and wealth planning concepts.
· Established network within the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth market, including relationships with professional centers of influence such as attorneys, accountants, and other advisors.
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to excellence and accuracy.
· Sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team culture.
· Strong follow-up, execution, and accountability skills.

The base pay range for this position in Miami, Florida is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$112,500.00 USDMaximum:
